Alpha And Omega Christian Center is a ministry that takes seriously the word of God. We are a ministry that realizes that God is more interested in people than buildings. At AOCC it is our mission to build up people so that they can have the opportunity to know Christ in a personal way. The Bible says, "When he (Jesus) ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. And he gave some, apostles, and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive." Ephesians 4:8, 11-14
The AOCC Experience
When you enter AOCC you will know that this ministry is different from any other ministry that you have encountered, not because of the size of the ministry but because Jesus Christ is truly the Great Shepherd of the ministry in every way. We are a ministry that is building people for a destination greater than earthly reign and earthly accumulation of things. The most important thing that this ministry focus on is building you up spiritually and teaching you to seek first the kingdom of God and then all these things will be added unto you. So that when all has been said and done you will be able to say, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day." 2 Timothy 4:7-8
A Ministry of Love
When you enter Alpha and Omega Christian Center you will notice that that it is a Ministry where the love of God is exemplified. Jesus said, "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." John 13:35. Love is the fulfilling of the law and Alpha and Omega fulfills this law as a ministry.
A Ministry of Prayer
A Ministry that does not pray is a ministry that will not have the presence of God. The word of God says, "for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people." Isaiah 56:7b At Alpha and Omega Christian Center we believe in the power of prayer and we have seen God answer prayers of salvation, healing, deliverance, provision, etc...
A Ministry of Evangelism
The heartbeat of God is souls, souls, souls and at Alpha and Omega Christian Center we believe in winning souls into the kingdom. A ministry that's not winning souls is not fulfilling the great commission. Jesus said, " Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, the halt, and the blind. Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." Luke 14:21,23 At Alpha and Omega Christian Center we are out on the street compelling men and women to come in. Evangelism is a vital part of any ministry and it creates ministry growth with new believers.
A Ministry of the Word
At Alpha and Omega Christian Center we believe that the word should be the foundation of ministry and that the ministry should be built upon Christ. The word of God says, "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ." Colossians 2:8
A Ministry of Intimacy
The goal of Alpha and Omega Christian Center is to bring the body of Christ to spiritual maturity and intimacy with God, both by the Word of God and living a life that exemplifies Christ. We want you to have a personal relationship with the living Christ and know him in an intimate way.
